A good signature,
in your inbox.
Use the HTML version for readable text and individual clickable links. PNG files are image companions: they do not contain separate phone, website or social links. Menu names can change; use the official help links if your version looks different.
Start here
- Choose a full signature for new messages and a reply version for shorter conversations.
- Click Copy signature in the editor. If clipboard access is unavailable, open the downloaded HTML file in your browser, select only the signature, and copy it. Paste the rendered signature, not its source code.
- If you uploaded a local photo or logo, it is included in PNG and ZIP assets. The HTML uses only public image URLs. Insert a local image manually using the email editor, or add a public HTTPS image URL in Kitmaple and export again.
Gmail on the web
- Open Gmail → Settings → See all settings → General → Signature.
- Create a signature and paste the rendered signature into its editor.
- Add any local photo/logo with the editor's Insert image control. Images must remain available to recipients; school/work accounts may restrict image sharing.
- Under Signature defaults, choose your main signature for new emails. Create a second signature from the reply HTML if you want a compact reply version.
- Scroll down and save changes. Compose and send a test message.

Outlook on the web & new Outlook
- Open Settings → Accounts → Signatures (some versions show Mail → Compose and reply).
- Add a signature, name it and paste the rendered HTML into the editor.
- Use the editor's image control for local images. Set defaults for new messages and replies, then save.
- Send a test email to a different provider, such as Gmail.
Classic Outlook for Windows
- Open a new message → Message → Signature → Signatures. Some versions also provide File → Options → Mail → Signatures.
- Choose New, name the signature and paste the rendered HTML into the editing area.
- For a local image, use Insert picture and select the bundled avatar/logo file. Resize it in the editor. Do not paste a local file path or a browser blob URL.
- Choose the email account and defaults for new messages and replies/forwards. Save and send a test.
Microsoft: build a signature with photos and links
Before you call it finished
- Click the phone, email, website and booking links in a received test message.
- Check a reply and forwarded email, a narrow window, and light/dark inbox settings.
- Hide remote images. Your name and contact text should still be readable.
- Confirm public image links do not require login and will not expire. Kitmaple does not host your images.
- Keep the ZIP and profile.json. Import the profile in the editor when you need to change your details; local uploaded images need to be added again.
Browser previews are not proof of rendering in every mail client. If a layout changes after pasting, try the simpler no-photo or reply version. Some mobile apps have separate, limited signature editors; install on the desktop/web version first.
